Help advance the understanding of adult amblyopia
For many years, adults with amblyopia were often told that meaningful improvement after childhood was unlikely. Emerging research suggests the picture may be more complex, with ongoing interest in binocular stimulation, visual learning, and treatment adherence in adults.
Amblyopia.games includes optional opportunities for adults to participate in research-focused programs exploring therapy activity and training patterns.
Participants may contribute anonymous information such as:
- Exercise completion patterns
- Patching adherence
- Session duration
- Difficulty progression
- Aggregate performance trends over time
The goal is not simply to ask whether an exercise works, but also to better understand:
- Which routines people actually complete
- How consistency changes over time
- Whether engagement influences outcomes
- Which approaches may deserve further study
Participation is always optional, and individual personal health information is not shared publicly.
